I wouldn't "hope", but rather adjust your own practices accordingly.

FWIW, I thought the old Archos players were pretty slick, so I bought my own. Then upgraded to a 10" Android based tablet I got from Amazon for about $200. I load my own movies and use my own headphones. Those digi-players are so unreliable. Nothing worse than having the player crap out half way through the movie. Well, maybe there is something worse... having the FA make the 45 minute announcement and gather it up when you only have 10 minutes left in the movie. Now I can finish the movie in the towncar ride home from LAX.

BTW, I don't bring my own player into the lav!
