Am I the only one who thinks that the idea of a single person (or any disparate entitiy) re-writing the rules that another entity (United Airlines) makes for its own instruments a complete farce? And one motivated by self interest to boot?

I would love to see someone get pulled over for speeding... "Ummm yes officer. Well, see I was going faster than the posted limit b/c it makes me feel good. And that feeling combined with me being a good person should TRUMP the law..."

It's plain and simple. If you want to use the SystemWide Upgrade that United Airlines hands out, play by the rules that govern it.

The bartering of airline awards is noted in at least two places to "N-O-T" be allowed to occurr in the Coupon Connection, yet it still is.
