Apparently the Droid Razr has dual mode LTE and GSM - but Verizon disabled it. No idea whether they'll turn it on in the future, or just screw people over as usual...

There are plenty of chipsets that can do it (look at the new iPad or the Verizon Xyboard), but something is preventing carriers from unlocking their potential...
