If you are looking for proof that you took the flight, the BP proves nothing on AA. If you had cancelled the flight, you would still have the BP. The best proof that you took the flight is our Aadvantage statement showing earnings by flight. You only earn when you actually board and fly a segment.

I hang on to my BP's until I see the credit, but frankly that's old-fashioned now too.
