I understand there are technical issues, as the number of bands that the phone will have to receive is pretty considerable (800Mhz, 900Mhz, 700Mhz, 1900Mhz, et al). But there has to be demand for this type of solution.
Any thoughts on equipment in the near term? I do have an old unlocked Samsung GSM phone for international travel that I can throw a cheap SIM into, but this is not a great solution for business purposes.

Nothing at all announced yet. There is one HTC and a Droid 4 which could support this possibly but it wasn't clear from FCC filings and otherwise no other press about this particular need. I'm in the same boat myself, waiting!
