I ask this becuase I just found out I have a trip next week and want to know if I will have access (provided I can get Chase to expetite the card to me).

I believe they send you the UC card separately.
In my experience with the PP card, United Clubs are able to look you up in their system if you have the credit card but clubs operated by other carriers will just turn you away if you don't have the physical UC membership card with you.
