I'm currently in New York as part of a TA booking. I was automatically upgraded from Y to W at no charge, and then upon checking MMB yesterday I had a cash upgrade offer all the way from Y to J. Needless to say I bit their hand off, and can now contemplate a civilized return in 14K along with pre-flight dining and breakfast/shower at the other end.

For a TA booking made all in Y, I'd say this constitutes something of a result.
