I always stay at the Holiday Inn in South Keningston. But now there are two there, one being the old Forum hotel (big highrise) with good rates. But the one I prefer is the older Holiday Inn across the street in a series of renovated town houses. As a Priority Club member, I often get upgraded to suites there. The rate is often as low as 99 to 130 pounds.

Also around the corner on Gloucester Road is the Citadine Apt Hotel. Good rates there but rooms vary.

Ramada Jarvis Hotel on Queens Gate is also good at 79 pounds per night.

Just some ideas. The problem in London is that rooms sizes are often small and a single bed can be uncomfortably small. Generally these hotels above are good ones.

Radisson's Hotels in UK, such as the Vanderbilt on Cromwell Road is very unpredictable, unless you pay a bit more for an upgrade.
