I suggest you go back and re-read my post again. I did not say that leisure passengers should be deferential to business passengers. I'm saying that business passengers should
not be deferential to leisure passengers.
They are equal in my eyes - who ever books first should get the choice to MFU if there is availability. Simple, fair, logical.
I agree though: what about people who spend their own money on flights? Why should they be treated any differently? Business passengers have a choice of airlines too (although I know that some are mandated to fly with a certain airline) and BA know that.
And, to be frank, BA don't care whether the money they get is someone's own money or from an employer.

On that I agree - make it open and transparent. And I'm saying that as a business traveller and as a leisure traveller.
