YYC-EWR-SIN works great for the inbound and SQ21 is the best way to get to SIN from North America. The outbound you're better off connecting at LAX/SFO.

You could try booking on SQ website, although be fore warned, it appears the same monkeys (or their siblings) who run AC's IT are also working at SQ.
