4:15 pm is not bad... start of peak arrival period. And yes, the fastest way is to walk. And check your reservations... AA operates out of T4, not T3.
4 hours is plenty for this connection. I would keep your reservation but if you get through immigration and customs in 1 hour, you can run over to T4 and try to standby for the earlier flight.
