....and you know one of the biggest stinkers of the whole sordid affair. You were using a Chase card without a foreign transaction fee. Many of the large banks charge a foreign transaction fee on all transactions taking places outside the USA so a victim of the dcc scam with a card from one of the near criminal banks will incur an additional 3% charge on top of the asinine exchange rates dcc merchants rip you off with! And in the case of a credit, they would have subtracted the 3% from the credit! So now you and othersd know just what a rip off dcc is.
