I think there are more recent reviews on a separate "Santorini" or "Greece" thread somewhere in this forum. I recall writing one from when we went in 2010. I won't forget this place for many reasons. The views and service were amazing. They upgraded us to a Villa even though I was an SPG nothing since I had just joined SPG a week earlier when we arrived in Greece for our honeymoon. So you may still get plat recognition, I think I read it depends on occupancy since the resort is so small. We stayed here on a last minute booking because it wasn't until we arrived at Vedema that my husband realized that the caldera views were at the OTHER resort. I had plugged Vedema into google maps when he first booked it and pointed out that there couldn't possibly be water views when the map shows the resort in the center of the island, but he insisted there would be.
$425 a night with a 100 euro credit is an amazing rate. When are you going?
