3 Nights at Same Hotel, 3 Separate Reservations (Diamond bonus?)
Because the best available rate (AAA, State Gov't, my wife's corporate rate) were different each night of a 3-night stay with one different rate coming out the winner as the lowest rate, I had to book 3 separate 1-night reservations instead of one 3-night reservation.
Yes, I'm aware that back to back (to back) nights at the same hotel will only net me 1 stay credit, however, I have two questions.
1.) The first night is a KING, the second night is TWO QUEENS, and the third night is back to a KING. Will this allow me to check-out and check back in? (I actually do need the second queen on the second night)
2.) Is there any way to simply check-out anyway, and then check back-in (for various reasons including #1) and still get a second diamond amenity?
I know this sounds a bit grubby for points, but since I'm going through the trouble of checking out anyway due to the bedroom change, I thought I'd ask.
And to those that suggest we simply get 2 queens for all 3 nights, there were a few snags. For one, the 2 queens room was more expensive on Night 1 and 3 (go figure.) and for another, at this particular hotel, the 2 queens bedrooms are much smaller and leave less room for a suite upgrade (which are almost all 1 King).
Thanks for your help.
