I would give AS a B+ overall in their MP program. I have been a MVG for 10+ years. Generally the first class upgrade program is good and the product (1st) is good relative to other domestic. Here are my favorite components using to MVP Gold as my baseline:

1. Change Fee Waivers - +++
2. Upgrade Availablity - ++
3. Redemtion Avaialability - ++
4. AS Customer Service - ++++++++++++++
5. Seating Priority - +++
6. Partner Awards - ++
7. First Class Product - ++
8. First Class Pricing - +++
9. MVPG Free Drink in coach - +++
10. 4 One Way Upgrade Certs - --- (downgraded this year, bad move AS)
