Have mostly stayed at the full Sheraton nearby... not a lot of great restaurant options close in. Though the restaurants in both Sheraton and 4 Points are not bad. The department store basement has some Chinese fast food options, some of which are quite good for noodles/dumplings etc. Also a kind of small gourmet grocery in the basement.
As mentioned before, there is a McDonalds across the street, plus a Starbucks back in the neighborhood (also a Wal-Mart about 1KM south).
Cab ride < 5 min to Lujiazui/Superbrand Mall, or Ba Bai Ban area (near Intercontinental Pudong) are both very fast, only challenge is directing a cab back. Or 1-connection on subway can get you pretty much all the hot spots in the city in under 30 min. It's a deceptively convenient location actually... The full Sheraton is one of my favorites. 2 huge suites per floor, so lots of upgrades for plats and some for golds, and great service.
