Same here. I noticed when flying WN last week BUR-OAK that the F/A over the intercom told people the remind their seat mate to turn off the electronics if they were plugged in and unable to hear the announcement. AS can try including that message in the about to go under 10K and get some of the passengers to police ourselves.
