Apparently PDX is another location with too many self-upgraders among EA/ES that has solved this by retaining all keys for premiums on a ring in the office. The attendant walked me directly to two S60 T5s with Climate (heated seats) and Premium (leather and sunroof) packs. He must have wanted to save the other vehicles - nothing really noteworthy to cause me to test him - for people traveling with more than one roll-aboard and PC bag. Man, the trunk is small w/o a spare (just an inflator is standard?) and with the spare - and a temp at that - it's ludicrous.
Interesting - so you got an S60 with a Premium reservation there? I actually asked at the booth on Friday what level I needed to rent at to get one and was told that there was no way for me to get one - I had to be an "invited" VIP. I had been wondering because there is no "Premium" aisle that I could see at PDX, so was afraid of getting stuck in the dreaded Grand Marquis that I see there from time to time.
