Can I depart from a different city on a stopover?

I'm planning a *A reservation with a stopover in FCO returning from HKG to YYZ, and I'm wondering if it's possible to leave from CDG on the stopover?

Example:
YYZ-BKK(Open Jaw)
HKG-FCO(Stopover);CDG-YYZ
