flew EC ATL-PIT a few months ago and in March. Same thing caught me by surprise that my seat assignment was in the red EC zone both times (preferred seating area). Had only seen it before on TATL. But wasnt paying enough attention the second timesee if I was MD88 or MD90. MD90 for that leg is very very rare so I figure its safe to assume MD88. First time it was with my pooch underseat either 737 or 757 (cant remember if we came in behind 1class or through 1class) so I can verify that there was exit row-esque legroom cause I still had space. Second time i had the "bulkhead" with no bulk head first row so I had extra space under the curtain anyway.
