Well I guess with the CO merger in full-force, there are some changes. I checked into a HNL - DEN flight, and noticed that my name wasn't added to the Pending Upgrades list. I called (only 2 min wait btw) and after being placed on hold for ~15 min while the agent was looking into it, came back and said she spoke with the help desk, and that the HNL - DEN flight is not eligible for complimentary upgrades (and that only to/from California is).

I know for a fact that last year it was, and that it was the Continental flights (to EWR & DFW) that were listed as not eligible...

Anyways, at the end she did come back and say the desk made a one time exception and confirmed an upgrade. Now looking at my itinerary, they confirmed both legs, so anyways I am currently walking away happy.. but still sad now that only LAX and SFO are the HNL complimentary upgrade capable flights...Looks like we are starting to get even more perks nibbled away at...
