I had been having the same problem over and over again this past week. I took your advice - and was successful in getting the 60,000 offer to come up. I actually accomplished this somewhat differently: I first clicked on the 60,000 offer on my United page; the 40,000 offer then came up; I clicked on that as though I wanted to complete the application; got a message saying something like this page is temporarily unavailable; hit my "go back" button on my browser - and, voilą, I was now on the 60,000 offer page. Strange, and convoluted, indeed.
