Combined with the downgrades coming next your to the bottom status tiers, you may have better luck with UA's MP, that's until UA also aligns the earnings with those of AP for T fares. For *G A3 is a better choice though.
I looked at A3 and accrual rate is also 50% for N, G, P, E, A, unless I fly additional North American short-hauls to make up for mileage shortage in order to reach *G.
