Were TG record locators available prior to systems integration?
Specifically, for award tickets I have had very good luck e-mailing TG (their LAX reservations office in El Segundo is very responsive!) and they've been happy to help with a record locator (so we can see our flight) and seat changes (which you can't do online -- their online flight view for award tickets is read-only).
