The private aviation passenger market share (measured in many ways- from takeoffs/landings, etc.) is far more than 1% of the commercial aviation market. Plenty of large corporations (such as Bank of America) have their own private planes to ferry senior executives--and others-- around.
Mike Bloomberg and the CEO of Goldman Sachs certainly don't fly commercially on regular business travel.
