Exactly; it would be like asking "Do coach awards get you into Business Class?"
But even if it were an Economy product like Delta's E Comfort, I know of no airlines that give away E+ seats to non-status pax. Even DL Golds and Silvers have to buy up to international Economy Comfort. So there is no reason to think an award reservation from a partner airline would get you anything of the sort.
