I heard on ABC this morning that "US might be stepping up its drive for a possible takeover of AA".

IF this did happen, do you think (speculation) AA will continue to runn under the AA brand, as part of OW Alliance or would it be an exercise in rebranding the aircraft, and changing to *A.

Would elites be given similar status on US?

As I said, just speculation on a slow morning...
