MAN could handle a chunk of the European traffic - it certainly used to operate a lot more than it seems to now - in fact it seemed to offer more charter last time I was there.
But how would the airlines cope with that? Half the pax want to travel to the UK, the other half wants to transfer. The transfer pax probably don't want to go to MAN.
