Have recently joined and have been reading the forum with great interest.

I return from Mumbai on 1st May and will need to acquire 175 tier points between then and 9th August to reach Silver for the first time.

I don't have much spare cash at the moment, so what I want to know is will this have to be a WT+ return to JFK for around £700 or can I do this cheaper somehow?

I looked at some other threads that showed multi city trips, but trying this on the BA homepage just comes up with crazy prices.
