I am a President's Circle member and had rented a prestige SUV that was fully loaded with 5 suitcases and various other bags/skis etc along with 3 passengers.
I was initially rejected for a drive-back at LAX over the past week.
It wasn't offered to me (like it had been previously), and after I asked, I was initially met with "Sorry what?" As in he was pretending I had no idea what I was talking about
Then it was "Sorry we don't do that at all anymore"
Then the story changed to "Platinum's Only" and then being ignored....
Then after insisting and not driving the SUV further into the returns lot (as I would have been locked in by other vehicles), and slipping $$ I managed to get driven back, and insisting that dragging all that luggage on the bus was going to hold everyone else up.
The lady that drove us back was lovely, but person directing traffic into the "returns area" really didn't want to help.
Of course I tipped the driver $50 for her effort ^
I am tempted to pay up for Platinum just to have this benefit...
