That's terrible! What an awful way to start a vacation. I'm sorry I don't have any insight, as I've only had lost luggage in the US and nothing missing. I have family abroad though, and I know how exciting it is to bring gifts and things for them. What a terrible thing to take, good luck with it! I'm sure I would want blood as well!
