T2 is only a check in area for some airlines and shops. All flights depart from T1.
Exactly. And you do not have to go outside. T2 is accessed by an underground walkway you get to from the arrivals hall. After you check in at T2, you'll come back to T1 for security, immigration, lounges, gates.
