any recent recommendations or experiences please?

only there for 2 days... mainly to see the pandas but would like to do 6-8 hours of walking the city.... i'll also be with my 70yr old mother-in-law, she's fit as a fiddle but a pain... we all know the drill...

so anyway, would prefer something "central" that us to take in as much as we can tourist wise.
