Flight crew do both, so for them it is just normal.

Cabin crew would be Short Haul cabin crew. The aircraft training is done on the aircraft type, not the internal cabin fit out. However, as Short Haul crew, we do have to be trained on how to operate the flat beds for the occasions we operate on these aircraft. It is no different, apart from some safety aspects and equipment locations which differ between the Long and Short Haul configurations.

I also worked on a Long Haul aircraft yesterday and prefer them over the Short Haul configuration.
