Thanks for the reply, glad to know what to expect reference security again.

I really don't know how the security check will go in St. John's. I am taking 2, with 1 in the back of the plane but will need at least 1 pretty soon after landing, just in case the luggage is lost. I guess since it is an electronic device I better have some batteries to show that it works.
To me it doesn't look like a weapon but I understand that a security official may not have the same view of it as me.

And of course I'm sure it doesn't come up very often.
