The restaurant I really mourn for is Gustav Anders' from South Coast Village. A great Swedish restaurant, Chef Anders was a James Beard award winner, Gustav ran the front of the house. Their Christmas and Easter smorgasbord was a thing of beauty.

I also mourn for the all the great NYC restaurants that have moved along, Luchow's, Lutece, Tavern on The Green and others with the great hotels they were in like the Stanhope and Mayfair Regent.
