Been there, done that -- three days ago (Mon). Deal closed so I didn't wait. Those who do wait take the risk of Amex CC "cancelling" the TW agreement like they did with CP when AC bought them.

Now just have to wait for the 6 months PLUS time to pass for AA (actually TWA LLC I guess) to give notice of "closing" the Aviators program down so I can get all those nice MR/Aviators miles over to AA at a 1:1 exchange rate. Talk about coming up roses.
