I was on the other side on Rue De Castiglione, but still a major road, and on the second floor and never found the street noise to be intrusive. The Tower View rooms, many of which have balconies, are very special. But we each have our own tolerance for noise. If you're not a city person, the noise could be bothersome...but the Eiffel Tower is not a countryside venue.
