No, Ron, absent any independent video of Mr. Corbett going through the checkpoint (e.g. surveillance footage), it is not a complete falsehood: it is his word vs. your word and the others at the TSA. Why is your assertion that he
did not go through the scanner with the object on his side any more authoritative than his assertion that he
did?
It's very telling that the TSA's official response never denied that Mr. Corbett did bring the item through the scanner. All we are told is that "it was a crude attempt", "we can't discuss our detection capability", "AIT has found drugs", and that "we have 19 other layers of security".
Not once did anyone from the TSA actually refute Mr. Corbett's claim.
So if the official response from the TSA did not refute it, why should we take your word that the video was a fabrication?
