You do not normally change the rules during the game. I have been a faithful BA Gold EC for a long period. Flying out from Italy I had to make an effort to use BA because in order to get anywhere I always had to fly to London. Now things have changed and in order to reach the Gold status I have to fly almost twice as much as I did in the past. Moreover also the threshold for the Upgrade for 2 and the Concorde access have been changed making it almost impossible for me to get it. While for the status they accept that for the next 2 years I would reach it even with the usual 800 points, the limit for the upgrade for 2 has been move up during the actual year..... I only had few points to go now I have almost 1000.... it is not fair. I am wondering if this is only somthing that effects me? Let me know. Ciao
