Waiting to board SQ21 to SIN where I will have an 18 hour layover before continuing on SQ in J. I'm planning on going in to spend a day in Singapore but don't want to drag my unchecked luggage and backpack. Is it possible to leave my bags in SQs lounge and if so is it secure enough to be able to leave my laptop in one of the bags?

Getting on the plane in a little over an hour so would appreciate any quick feedback if anyone knows.
