But what surprises me is they could have taken over the MidWest jets which have been in the desert since 2009. I guess Midwest was asking too high a price on those. But with Delta getting a deal from Boeing on the AirTran 717's, it makes sense for Delta to takeover the grounded Midwest jets as well if they need more planes and can get a good deal considering they are grounded and not being used depending on what condition they are in.
