Thanks for your input, glad to hear that it probably won't be a problem. I guess worst case scenario, I'd just get booked on the next flight out, but was curious about the connection time.

As for the direct flight, this is an award ticket, so not quite as much flexibility if I want to book business/first tickets. I will keep an eye things as we get closer to see if a more direct rout opens up.
