I'm trying to book a room using HHonors points for a relative. I can change the reservation address to theirs but I don't see any way to change it from my name.
What should I do? Give my name and address and add them as 2nd guest? Give their name and address and add them as 2nd guest? Or is there a different process for booking for someone not myself?
I'm assuming there's no rule that says I must be the guest when using points, or is there? I can possibly accompany them for checkin (or go and do checkin myself then give them the key) but that's an inconvenience I'd prefer to avoid.

have you considered calling central reservations and have them change the name on the reservation? or you can just simply ask them to add them to the reservation. voila!
