If you were a woman wearing a professional, but low cut dress, and the mom asked you to put on a sweater, how would you feel then?

But that isn't what happened. In this case she asked the OP to switch to another game. If it was me there playing with my iphone (I don't have an ipad) it would have been no skin off my back whatsoever to play something else instead.
If I was a hardcore poker fan and it had to be poker or bust, then I'd tell the woman that I would like to continue playing and she might want to switch seats with her son if she doesn't want him seeing it. Perfectly justified. Nothing wrong with declining, but the excitement displayed by several posters over the prospect of rudely belittling someone who makes a simple request is unseemly. Take the high road, FTers.
