I'm a lifetime AC member. Although highly unlikely, if I were to start working for AA would I be prohibited from using ACs while flying as a revenue pax? Technically speaking I would have not bought lounge access as an AA employee, just before my employment commenced.
IIRC, there is a procedure in place for individuals who are paid AC members and then become active AMR employees. I believe there is a "weaning" period of the membership upon hiring, at the end of which the membership becomes invalid.
