The only way you can make a connection to QF at LAX and not have to leave the secure area is to fly into LAX on AA then get the bus from T4 to TBIT.

From May, when LAX-AKL gets dropped, the BNE flight is moving to TBIT and all QF ops will then be in TBIT.
