If mine is scanned first and I am cleared and they are not, I assume they would be sent to the regular line (which means I would also be using the regular line with them since they would need help through security)?
I asked about this a couple pages back. You would be allowed to go through, your non-TT family would not. You'll probably get the option of going through regular security with them.
