So, it looks like I won't be able to use this in the way I thought because of the two month limitation.
I'd be sure to call the proper person. The number you want is SkyTeam Support 800 830 7460. My understanding was that no limitations existed on coupon usage as far as airports as long as you are paying for the correct mileage. Also, you DO NOT have to buy a Delta vacation to get the coupons. I suspect that is just some mis/dis-information designed to sell their over-priced products.
