Why does SWA.com say my flight is nonstop?
I find this slightly frustrating, and I don't understand why Southwest does this. When I booked my flight from BOI-BUR, I saw that I would change planes in Oakland, no big deal. When I looked at my return flight, southwest.com said there was one stop, but I couldn't figure out where. Total flight time was 3:10 so it couldn't be too far out of the way, I went ahead and selected it. Only at the screen to purchase did it say that the stop was in Oakland. Now, when I review that itinerary after purchasing, it says nonstop. Why does WN make it so difficult to see what the connecting airport is? Certainly I would know if I was getting sent out of my way because the travel time would be longer, but it would be nice to be able to compare several "one stop" flights before adding them to the cart.
At no point and in no place on southwest.com have I seen when I land in OAK and when I take off for BOI. Also, it's misleading saying on the itinerary that the flight is nonstop, it is certainly not. if someone had purchased the flight for me and given me the itinerary saying "nonstop," I'd be a little frustrated arriving at the airport to find the flight is actually headed first to Oakland and not nonstop to Boise.
